As updates on the impact of the coronavirus continue to be released, we want to take a moment to inform you of the heightened preventative measures we have put in place at The Camp Recovery Center to keep our patients/clients/guests, their families, and our employees safe. All efforts are guided by and in adherence to the recommendations distributed by the CDC.

Please note that for the safety of our patients, their families, and our staff, visitation is no longer allowed at The Camp Recovery Center.

  • This restriction has been implemented in compliance with updated corporate and state regulations to further reduce the risks associated with COVID-19.
  • Alternate methods of communication, including telehealth, are being vetted and may be offered when deemed clinically appropriate.

Outpatient Services & Continuing Care

When you complete residential addiction treatment at The Camp, you take a significant step toward a healthier future that is free from the constraints and limitations of chemical dependency. But we understand that your recovery journey will continue long after you’ve left our residential addiction treatment center near San Francisco, CA.  

To prepare you for continued success, we offer detailed discharge planning as well as two outpatient locations that serve individuals from San Francisco and surrounding areas. 

If you can benefit from structured step-down support after you complete residential treatment, an intensive outpatient program (IOP) may be the ideal level of care for you. The Camp offers IOP services at two locations: our main campus in Scotts Valley and our outpatient center in San Jose.  

When you participate in IOP, you typically take part in treatment two to four days per week, for a few hours each day. When you’re not participating in IOP services, you can attend school, work, volunteer, or otherwise begin to transition back to a healthy and productive lifestyle. To best serve individuals who need outpatient treatment for addiction in the San Francisco area, The Camp offers a supportive residence near our main campus for IOP participants.  

In addition to our IOP opportunities, we also provide detailed discharge planning services to each adolescent and adult who completes residential care at our addiction treatment center near San Francisco. We also prepare discharge plans for those who complete IOP services with us. 

As with all elements of addiction treatment at The Camp, your discharge plan will be personalized to best meet your unique needs.
