Jason Creel

MFT Intern

Jason joined The Camp Recovery Center as a Marriage and Family Therapy & Professional Clinical Counseling Intern in September 2025, bringing a deep commitment to supporting individuals on their journey to healing and long-term recovery. Prior to entering the field of therapy, Jason worked as a schoolteacher serving students with emotional, cognitive, and physical challenges—an experience that shaped his empathetic and inclusive approach to care.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Brandman University and is currently completing his Master’s in Psychology at the University of Massachusetts Global, with a dual emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Clinical Counseling.

Jason’s clinical philosophy centers on creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen and empowered. He builds therapeutic alliances rooted in trust and respect, meeting each individual where they are and walking alongside them through the recovery process. His goal is to help clients discover what works best for them, using a variety of therapeutic techniques to support sustainable, long-term healing.

Outside of his clinical work, Jason enjoys spending time in nature—hiking, surfing, and painting—as well as reading and staying active at the gym.
