Liz has been working at The Camp as a therapist since August of 2021. Her education journey started later in life. They obtained a BA in Psychology & MA in Developmental Psychology from Mills College in Oakland, CA, as well as MA in Counseling from The Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA. Liz’s modalities include psychodynamic, attachment theory, 12-step orientated approach along with motivational interviewing, CPT, & DBT. This variety and a strong knowledge of developmental psychology helps them to see the whole client including learned behaviors, attachment status and ways to move forward. Liz believes relationships heal and will work with you to create feelings of safety that can be taken out into the real world.
Outside of The Camp, Liz enjoys the beach, walks with friends and dogs, riding bike, and traveling whenever possible which includes day trips and flying out of town. Liz values quiet time and attends 12 step meetings to stay balanced.
