Brooke Davis
Associate Marriage Family Therapist
Brooke has worked as a Co-Occurring Disorder Therapist at The Camp since September 2023, and worked in the adolescent unit for her undergrad internship in 2020-2022. She graduated with her Master’s degree in Counseling in December of 2024 from the Palo Alto University and has a Bachelor’s in Counseling from Palo Alto University, earned in 2022.
With an education focused primarily on psychodynamic and holistic approaches in recovery-based evidence practices, Brooke is passionate about the recovery process. Her therapeutic practices are informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), humanistic theory, attachment theory, polyvagal theory, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Brooke will soon be trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Brooke is also passionate about family therapy and will continue to offer family sessions at The Camp.
Brooke brings a warmth and humor to her therapeutic process, with self-compassion being one of her overall goals for uncovering and setting goals towards people’s strengths to achieve sustained sobriety. Brooke enjoys working at The Camp because of the holistic approach, the beauty of the campus in the Redwoods, and the treatment philosophy of the Camp.
In her spare time, she loves the beach, surfing, hot yoga, and spending time with her family and dog, Maddie, the golden retriever. Brooke spends time on the island of Kauai and intends to move there permanently someday.
