Megan Tapiz, M.S.
Clinical Services Manager
Megan has worked in the mental health field since 2011. At that time, she resided in Washington, where she worked with homeless, at-risk youth who were battling emotional trauma and substance abuse. In 2015, she relocated back to her hometown of Aptos, California, and found her own path in recovery.
Megan began working in the recovery field in 2018 at Door to Hope in Salinas, California, before joining our team here at The Camp Recovery Center in May 2019 as a counselor on the residential adult unit. Megan has continued to grow in her position with the support of her team and supervisors. In the past two years, she has advanced from counselor to lead counselor to clinical supervisor, and now clinical services manager. Currently, Megan supervises the SUD track on the residential unit, helps implement protocols and procedures, supports staff with crisis intervention, and runs psychoeducation-based groups. Megan also carries her own caseload and supports our IOP with group coverage when needed.
Megan has become a vital part of our team and is always willing to assist other departments. Her communication skills and commitment to her team and clients provide a sense of stability that is crucial to the work we do.
