For adults, The Camp Recovery Center provides a continuum of care in treating the whole person. Services include detox, residential, outpatient, day, family, and aftercare programs. From the first day of admission, patients begin to acquire the tools and life skills necessary to maintain abstinence.
“One Size Does Not Fit All” - Every person entering the program is treated as a unique individual with separate needs and issues. The Camp Recovery Center’s substance abuse treatment program, considered one of the premiere leaders in the field of drug rehab and mental health counseling, combines the 12- step recovery principles with individual, group and experiential therapies to help patients understand their disease, accept it, and ultimately take responsibility for the process of recovery.

Founded in 1984, THE MEADOW LODGE provides teens with alcohol and drug problems a comprehensive, social-model, substance abuse treatment program. It is designed to emphasize the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual transformation of the individual, and to assist individuals in taking responsibility for their own recovery. Our treatment philosophy supports participation in and the principles of Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous. These programs provide vital information for understanding addictions and have proven to be the most successful path for ongoing recovery and support.
Nestled on 25 tranquil acres in the majestic redwoods of the Santa Cruz Mountains, The Meadow Lodge at The Camp Recovery Center features walking trails, basketball, tennis and volleyball courts, and a large sun-lit swimming pool. This serene environment, coupled with a highly structured and nationally accredited program, provides the creative backdrop for a new beginning for adolescents struggling with addiction.
The Meadow Lodge offers teens individualized, all-inclusive programs delivered by a quality group of experienced professionals including a physician certified in addiction medicine, 24 hour nursing and clinical counseling staff, who are supported by a dedicated team of intake, business, dietary, and house/grounds keeping personnel. Our treatment specialists use a dynamic mixture of methods, including a ROPES course, other experiential therapies, individual, group and recreational therapies, gender specific and mixed groups, to reach your kids. Time, creativity and information help your teen see the possibility and potential in clean and sober living.
The Meadow Lodge is licensed by the California Department of Social Services – Continuing Care Licensing and is accredited by CARF (The Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities). In addition, The Meadow Lodge’s own quality improvement program continuously evaluates the quality and level of its services.
The Meadow Lodge teaches teens how to make good choices. Then, it helps them build the confidence to make those choices.
