Q: Where is your program located?
A:
The Camp Recovery Center is located in Scotts Valley, California, (about 30 miles south of San Jose) on 25 tranquil acres amid the majestic redwoods of the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains.
Q: What types of problems/disorders do you treat?
A: For more than 25 years, The Camp Recovery Center has been considered one of the premier leaders in the field of drug and alcohol rehab and treatment. We provides comprehensive and specialized detoxification, residential, outpatient and aftercare treatment programs for adults and adolescents who are struggling with issues related to the use and abuse of alcohol and other drugs.
Q: How much will treatment cost?
A: Addiction rehabilitation is a highly personal experience, and the costs associated with treatment depend upon a number of issues, including (but not necessarily limited to) the specific nature of your problem being treated, the amount of time you will need to remain in treatment, and the presence of any co-occurring disorders.
Our intake advisors will be happy to work with you to develop an accurate picture of what your treatment will cost.
Q: Does your program accept insurance or provide financing options?
A: Yes. Most managed care health insurance organizations (HMOs), Union Trust Funds and Employee Assistance Programs recognize us as a preferred provider. Our advisors will be happy to help you access your benefits, work with your employee assistance professional or make alternate financial arrangements. Q: Do you provide detox services?
A:
Yes, we do. At The Camp Recovery Center, the primary goal of detoxification is physical stabilization under the supervision of a physician certified by the American Society of Addiction Medicine in addiction medicine, nurses, and addiction counselors. Learn more on our Detoxification Programs page
Q: Does The Camp Recovery Center support AA/NA and similar 12-Step programs?
A:
Yes. 12-Step philosophy and principles are a fundamental component of our comprehensive recovery services.
Q: How long will I need to be in treatment?
A:
Drug rehab treatment can vary from a few days to many months. Research shows that the longer a person remains in treatment, the greater the likelihood that long-term sobriety will result. As with most aspects of treatment, determining ideal length of stay involves an analysis of a number of personal factors.
Our professionals will take all of these issues into consideration as we work with you to create the personalized program that will put you in the best position to pursue long-term recovery.
Q: Will I be required (or permitted) to take medication during treatment?
A:
Medication management is an integral part of our detoxification and recovery services. However, all medication determinations are made on an individual basis, and always involve the informed consent of the client (or, in the case of minor clients, their parents).
While you or your child is in treatment at The Camp, every decision regarding medication will be made by you and your physician.
Q: What types of therapies and programs does The Camp use?
A:
Personalized treatment at The Camp incorporates medical and mental health services, 12-Step philosophy and principles, the Gorski/CENAPS relapse prevention methodology and a full range of traditional, experiential, and integrative therapies.
Through education, problem solving, individual and group counseling, art and recreational activities, the individual learns how to analyze his or her own personal chemical dependency and life history, and gain the recovery skills needed to break this vicious cycle.
