Intensive Outpatient

Young adults benefit from longer treatment and this allows them to really solidify positive new behaviors that help them cope with the stresses of teen life. There is a proven correlation between longer treatment and more successful outcomes.

The Camp offers several levels of treatment which allows adolescents and teens to gradually “step down” into lower levels of care. Outpatient treatment is a program that allows teens to still experience treatment and structure while continuing their education.

The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) may also be and alternative to residential/inpatient treatment for those adolescents (ages 14 through 17) who can commit to abstaining from all mind-altering chemicals while being attending our afternoon program. It can also be an option for adolescents who have stabilized after inpatient treatment, but still need support and supervision as they transition back to school and activities of daily living. This type of treatment can be successful if the adolescent has sufficient family and social supports and demonstrates a willingness to engage the recovery process.

The adolescent counseling staff consists of dedicated and insightful chemical dependency specialists who are committed to providing the highest quality of care by embracing the values of integrity, compassion, responsibility and excellence.

Our commitment to successful recovery is exemplified by our continuing care program. Meeting weekly, the hosting counselor fosters group support for adolescent alumni while they address the varying challenges of staying clean and sober “one day at a time”. Through this involvement, they come to realize that recovery can be not only rewarding, but also fun!
