The Camp Recovery Center, located in the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains in Scotts Valley, Northern California, provides comprehensive and specialized detoxification, residential, outpatient and aftercare treatment programs for adults and adolescents struggling with alcohol and drug use issues. For over 25 years, The Camp Recovery Center has been considered one of the premier leaders in the field of drug and alcohol treatment. Our substance abuse treatment program combines expert counseling and medication management with 12-Step recovery principles, individual, group and art therapy, and recreational and experiential therapies to facilitate change and build a base of recovery.
The Camp believes that family involvement is an important element of treatment for both the client and the family. Intensive family weekends are held to educate both families and clients on the disease of addiction and to prepare for a future in recovery.
The full continuum of care at The Camp includes detoxification, rehabilitation, day treatment, intensive outpatient programs, an aftercare program and an active alumni group. Our treatment is delivered by a multidisciplinary team of professionals dedicated and passionate about recovery.
A specialized program for adolescents is provided at The Camp’s Meadow Lodge. Our treatment specialists use a dynamic mixture of methods to reach youth, including a ROPES course, experiential therapies, individual, group and recreational therapies, and gender-specific and mixed groups. Time, creativity and information help adolescents see the possibility and potential of clean and sober living.
Over the past two decades, The Camp has built a nationally recognized reputation and established long-standing relationships with the medical and therapeutic communities as well as the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) licensing board.
The Camp Recovery Center strives to be as cost effective as possible in delivering the highest level of care. We work closely with residents, families, partners and insurance companies to come up with feasible payment plans.

ADOLESCENT PROGRAMS at THE MEADOW LODGE
For adolescents faced with chemical dependency, a new beginning starts with support, guidance and education. Services include detoxification, residential rehabilitation, intensive outpatient, family, aftercare and school programs.
FAMILY PROGRAMS
The program is based on the premise that when the patient returns to the family environment, the dynamics of the family will change.
AFTERCARE PROGRAMS
Success in recovery is an ongoing process. This means that the patient is never “cured” but has begun building a foundation for recovery during the residential stay.
ALUMNI PROGRAMS
The Camp alumni program supports graduates of The Camp and The Meadow Lodge through retreats and recreational activities that occur throughout the year.
